Located in rugged Southwest Texas where the summers are hot, the days are long, and cowboys still tend their stock horseback, K-Star Quarter Horses is a small operation whose goal is to breed and raise quality quarter horses for the working man and for those who just love to ride a good horse.

Owned and operated by Daniel Kothmann, with help from the  family, we offer foundation breeding at it's best.

Our facilities include the breeding barn, individual mare pens, and large foaling pens.

RICOCHET TUCKER

Ricochet Tucker is a line bred Hancock, blue roan with black  points, and roans about 85% of his foals.  He stands 15 hands, weighs 1200 lbs.  He is 17% Joe Hancock, 31.25% Blue Valentine, has 4 matching pairs of chromosomes and is 93.1640625% Foundation bred.

Tucker is gentle, easy to handle, very athletic, has an easy gait, and is sure footed in our rough terrain.  He passes these traits to his foals.

His foals are quick to learn, easy to work with and are suitable for team penning, steer roping, calf roping, working cow horse, reining, or reined cow horse.
